1. Sponsor

The Remodel Master Plan Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by SLObispo Remodelers, Inc., California General Contracting License #1114943, [mailing address], San Luis Obispo County, California (the “Sponsor,” “we,” or “us”). The Giveaway is administered solely by the Sponsor.

2. Agreement to These Rules

By entering, each entrant (“you”) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway. If you do not agree, please do not enter.

3. Eligibility

• Open only to legal residents of San Luis Obispo County, California who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.

• You must be the legal owner of a residential property located in San Luis Obispo County and be genuinely considering a kitchen or bathroom remodel of that property.

• Employees, owners, officers, and their immediate family and household members of the Sponsor are not eligible.

• Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. Entry Period (Recurring Monthly)

• The Giveaway runs in monthly cycles. Each cycle begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time on the first calendar day of the month and ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the last calendar day of that month (each, an “Entry Period”).

• Entries are evaluated for the Entry Period in which they are received. The Sponsor may begin, pause, modify, or end monthly cycles at its discretion.

5. How to Enter

• Complete the official entry form at slobisporemodelers.com/design-giveaway and provide the requested information (name, email, phone, city, homeowner status, project type, finished-material budget, remodel timeline, and remodel goals).

• Limit one (1) entry per person and per household for each monthly Entry Period. Duplicate, incomplete, or illegible entries may be disqualified.

• NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win, and making a purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

• Entries and the information submitted become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

6. How the Winner Is Chosen

This is a judged Giveaway. Winners are NOT chosen by random drawing. After each Entry Period, the Sponsor will review all eligible, qualified entries and, in its sole and absolute discretion, select one (1) winner. Selection is based on factors that may include project fit and scope, readiness and seriousness, realistic budget, timeline, stated goals, and overall suitability for a Remodel Master Plan. Because selection is discretionary and subjective, no fixed odds of winning apply, and the Sponsor’s selection decisions are final and binding. The Sponsor reserves the right not to select a winner in any cycle if, in its judgment, no entry is suitable.

7. Prize

One (1) winner per monthly cycle receives a Remodel Master Plan design package for one (1) kitchen or bathroom, which includes finish and fixture mood boards; two to three (2–3) layout options with elevations; detailed 3D mock-ups; photorealistic renderings; and an estimated budget range. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $6,000. The prize includes up to 2 revisions of the designs. The prize is a design package only and does not include construction, demolition, materials, fixtures, permits, or any physical remodeling work. The prize is non-transferable, has no cash value, and must be redeemed within 20 days of winner notification or it may be forfeited.

8. Runner-Up Design Credit

At the Sponsor’s discretion, one or more qualified entrants who are not selected as the monthly winner may be offered a design credit of up to $750 toward their own Remodel Master Plan or design services with the Sponsor. Any such credit is awarded at the Sponsor’s discretion, is subject to separate terms, has no cash value, and may expire.

9. Winner Notification

The selected winner will be notified by phone, text message, and/or email using the contact information provided at entry, typically within five (5) business days after the end of the applicable Entry Period. If a selected winner cannot be reached within five (5) business days, does not respond, declines the prize, or is found ineligible, the Sponsor may select an alternate winner or no winner for that cycle. The winner may be required to confirm eligibility and complete reasonably requested documentation before the prize is awarded.

10. Taxes

The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize. Because the ARV exceeds $600, the Sponsor may be required to report the prize value to taxing authorities and to issue the winner an IRS Form 1099. The winner may be required to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 before the prize is awarded.

11. No Obligation to Purchase or Build

Entering, qualifying, or winning the Giveaway creates no obligation to hire the Sponsor or to build any project with the Sponsor. Entry does not obligate the Sponsor to provide any estimate, design, or service except the prize awarded to the selected winner under these Rules.

12. Publicity Release

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize the winner consents to the Sponsor’s use of the winner’s first name, city, project photos and video, resulting designs, likeness, and statements for advertising and promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further notice, compensation, or approval.

13. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is used to administer the Giveaway and to contact entrants about their project and the Sponsor’s services, consistent with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at slobisporemodelers.com/privacy-policy. By entering and providing your phone number and email, you agree to receive calls, text messages (SMS), and emails from the Sponsor. Message and data rates may apply, and you may opt out at any time.

14. General Conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway, or to change these Rules, at any time — including if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway. The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these Rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, falsified, or submitted by ineligible persons are void.

15. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering, you release and agree to hold harmless the Sponsor and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liability arising out of participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16. Disputes and Governing Law

These Rules are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Giveaway will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Luis Obispo County, California.

17. Not Sponsored by Social Media or Other Platforms

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Google, or any other platform. You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to any such platform.

18. Winner Information

For the first name of the most recent winner (where permitted), send a request to info@slobisporemodelers.com within 30 days after the end of the applicable Entry Period.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
